Skiing at Nassfeld – slopes in Carinthia

Ski Nassfeld

Nassfeld – the best skiing in Carinthia

Nassfeld is one of the largest and most popular ski resorts in Carinthia, with more than 110 km of slopes, modern lifts and the wonderful atmosphere of alpine mountain huts. Hermagor is the natural gateway to the whole resort.

From Alpine Triad it is only about a 10-minute drive to the base station of the legendary Millennium Express in Tröpolach – and the ski bus stops just minutes from the house.

Slopes for every level, a freestyle park, ski-touring routes and cross-country loops in the Gail Valley – Nassfeld is a complete winter paradise.

Tip: Nassfeld sits right on the Italian border – from the top of the lift you look out over Carinthia and Italian Friuli alike. You can enjoy an Italian espresso without ever leaving the slopes!

Pressegger See – the turquoise jewel of the Gail Valley

Swimming, paddling, relaxing

Pressegger See is one of the most beautiful and warmest lakes in the entire Gail Valley – and it is only about 10 minutes from Alpine Triad. In summer it is a perfect spot for swimming, windsurfing, paddleboarding or a walk along the shore.

Clean water, picturesque surroundings, views of the alpine ridges and the friendly atmosphere of the locals – that is Pressegger See. The best refreshment after a hike or a bike ride.

Don't miss the slightly more distant but no less stunning Weissensee – an alpine lake almost free of car traffic, a paradise for lovers of silence and untouched nature.
